"A White Christmas"
by
Lyndsay

I
t was a brisk morning. My sister, Laura, and I woke up and raced down the stairs. We gazed out the window and saw white, fluffy snow. Shrieking with excitement, we woke up our parents.

Since it was Christmas, our parents let us play in the glowing snow. We rushed to get our snowsuits on. Along the long, bright hall, we noticed the decorated Christmas tree and the carefully wrapped presents. Together, Laura and I decided that we would open the presents first.

Rapidly, we ripped the Christmas wrapping off our presents to find the surprises awaiting us. Jumping with joy, we both celebrated our new snowsuits and sled!

Excitedly, we used our new snowsuits when we went sledding behind our motorbikes on the glazed lake. The lake was like a glittering star. The snow was very powdery and fluffy.

After a long day of racing the motorbike's on the lake, everyone was very tired. I was so tired, that it was as if my feet were made of concrete. I went to bed, to get some sleep for another day of snow!
