"The Day we almost Wore Marshmellow Suits"
by

H
arvey Terwillinger Moosepacket loved marshmellows. He was always eating them. He wore a marshmellow shaped hat in the winter, and he put a marshmellow shaped chair on his porch in the summer. We thought it was great when the school hired him to be our new principal- until he decided we should all wear uniforms.

These weren't any ordinary uniforms. These uniforms were puffy and white, which made us all look like the fluffy white guy from the tire commercial.

He said we were supposed to look like marshmellows so he could eat us.

After school we begged our regular principal, Mr. Pal, to come back.

"He'll eat us!" cried Jimmy
"Please come back!" wailed little Sarah.

Finally he agreed to come back. "We can't have our students running aruond the school looking like marshmellows," he commented silently to himself.

After that no one, and I mean NO ONE, ever hired Harvey Terwillinger Moosepacket for any job where it might be a possibility for him to be promoted to head of the company.
