Angel and her friends Catie, CD, Jason, Speeder, and Krystal were standing by the side of the road walking over to Krystal's house. All of a sudden this bus drives by. This is no ordinary bus. The bus driving up the street was plastic with no roof and full of kids singing in spanish. The kids wore a blue glove on one hand and a gold glove on the other hand. The bus stopped and the kids stopped singing. Then, as if given a cue, the kids jumped out of the bus and started singing and dancing! Angel and her friends couldn't help it, they started singing and dancing right along with them! Angel heard a beeping sound and forced her eyes to open. She looked around the room and whispered, "That was the weirdest dream I've ever had." That night after her mother tucked her into bed and turned out the lights Angel prepared for another hilarious dream. She closed her eyes and counted all the dreams she could remember having, and before she got to her 6th dream she was out like a light. The next morning Angel woke up about half-an-hour before her alarm clock went off. "I didn't have a dream!" she cried. Angel couldn't remember a time when she didn't have a dream, and she was worried that something was wrong with her. She ran into her mother and father's room as she burst into tears. She explained to her parents why she was crying and they smiled at each other. "Honey," her mother said. "You won't always have a dream every night." "I won't?" Angel asked. "Why?" "That's just how things are," came her father's reply. "We don't know exactly why we even have dreams in the first place, but it doesn't matter." "Now go try and get some more sleep before you have to wake up for school," her mother said. Angel walked back to her room and flopped down on the bed. "I guess it really doesn't matter if I have a dream or not," Angel mumbled sleepily. "What good have they done me anyway?" Angel giggled at that thought. Then, she lay her head on the pillow and fell asleep. And guess what? She had a dream. |
