"the amazing, rare, happiest day of my life"

W
e arrived on the island. "Mom, are there any shells?" asked my annoying little sister. "Go ask big sister samantha." sighed mom, peeling a potato. "No, sabrina. But this sand is ever so smooth and pale yellow. You should build a nice high castle. Come on, I'll come and help, OK?" I said, getting up.

We built a high castle, a stick as a flagpole and a long colourful dead sea snail as a flag. Seaweed served as paths, carpet, gates and banners. It was so beautiful that dad took 30 photos of it and mom blew a kiss to it.

It was then and there I wished me and my sis didn't build a castle like this. It was rare that mom ever loved our work so I was very pleased anyway. I congratulated sabs and she did so likewise. Mom was stunned and really touched and demanded to have a cosy campfire and celebrate tonight. That was the 2nd time we ever had a campfire because we were sooo polite and did outstanding work.

Sabs was soooo happy and merry she swinged me round and round until I nearly fainted of dizziness myself. As for she, she slept or I believed-fainted-for 10 hours! But it was awesome all the same.
