"SARS"

I
believe that everyone now knows about SARS, even a three-year old could notice something unusual. The first time I heard about SARS, I was very very afraid. Even now I'm still a little afraid. I have never been afraid of cancer or AIDS, because they are not easy to have, but SARS is just too easy to have.

According to the newspaper, there're over a thousand people who are having SARS. 7 people have already died of it in Toronto, more than 30 people died in China. There're totally more than a hundred people died all over the world.

People are avoiding going to public places, such as: public libraries, supermarkets, shopping malls and restaurants. I even saw people wearing masks on the street. They made me really scared, I feel like I am living in a huge hospital.

I hope doctors and scientists could invent a kind of medicine to make SARS go away as soon as possible, and never let it come back. But I know that is hard, even if they have something that could treat SARS, it's still hard to avoid people giving it to each other. It's really an intractable problem.

And then a question comes to my mind, where does SARS come from? The television said that it comes from Guang Dong, China. But why there's such a dreadful disease in Guang Dong? Maybe it comes from animals or something.

In the future, I hope scientists could invent something that can prevent all kind of disease. In that way, people don't need to be afraid of any disease. GO AWAY! SARS!
