My fourth grade students have been reading and learning about the elements of folktales. They have read many books both on andoff line. Their final project is to create an original folktale, possibly based on one they had read before. They must include at least three elements of a folktale (good, evil, magic, onceupon a time..., happily ever after, etc.)
