woke up on a saturday morning.Ring,Ring,Ring yelled the phone. I grabbed the phone. "Hello," I said unhappy." This is the chife I have news for you I think you should come down to the office," He barked. I threw on my clothes and my keys. I huddled out the door and hopped in the car. I drove my car as fast as a cheetah could run down the high-way.I pulled in to the parking lot and scurried in the doorin to the elevator to room 108. " Hello Sarah," Chief said. " Sit down,sit down," he repeted. I plumped down in the chair. " Ok here's the news,well the space station called and said I could pck someone to go to the moon and stay there for a while!" Cheif said excitedly. Yeah,ok,sure," I mumbled. "When do I go," I questioned. " You go Monday,but you can only bring five items," He demanded. "I want you to tell me why your bringing the item," He replied "Ok I'll see you tomorrow with your things and be ready to tell me why your bringing it,"He explained. (Next Day) "Ok I'm here! with my things," I replied. "Ok Sarah ,let's see,"He said "I brought my tooth brush and tooth paste, because it's healthy and I don't want to get any cavites ,because there are no dentists on the moon."I also brought chapter books becaseif I get board I could just pull out a book and read for awhile., because there is nothing on the moon only sky and ground, no buldings, nothing to keep me occupied, books are really good, and they make you a better reader and keep you busy. I will bring a tent, just in case there's a storm. I'll have shelter to keep me safe. I won't be scared because there's no life on the moon. I brought a friend. Her name is Shannon, an di won't be scared and alone. I will feel right at home and with good company. I will not be in the tent most of the time. I will be out playing with my friend. The clothing I brought so I wouldn't be naked. I would be safe with my clothes. I wouldn't get dirty but my clothes would. "That is all the things I brought!" Sarah explained. "Ok, that sounds like you are good to go. You have five things and it sounds like the things you brought will be pretty useful!" Chief said. "Let's get you over to the lift-off room." one hour later... 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, blast off! Going to the moon...going, going, going. "We're landing!" Sarah said. "Now we've landed. Unload your things." "All done, Sarah," Shannon told her. Laying in bed that night we were talking. "Sarah, how long are we staying here?" asked Shannon. "A long time... a long time," I said.
