J
ack waited excitedly at the door of is friend's house. Dave was usually very early, and Jack wondered why he was late today. Finally Dave came out, holding his books, and lunch in one hand. In the other hand he was holding the poster that they had made last night.

"Sorry 'bout being late, had to fix a bit." Jack saw that Dave had put cool space designs around the poster board.

"Looks awesoe! But, we better hurry to school if we don't wanna be late."

As they ran to school Jack worried about the grade the poster would get.

"Mom and dad said if I don't get a good grade on this, then there ain't no more sports for me," Jack thought.

Just as they reached school, the bell rang, and the teeacher, Mrs. Spalkins, asked everybody to take out their posters. As she inspected their poster, Jack squirmed in his seat, he needed to get a good grade on this one project. Finally the teacher went on, and inspected other posters. When she was finished she handed pieces of paper to everybody, the paper listed their grade. Jack's finger trembled as he opened the white piece of paper that was quickly dropped on his desk. He finally opened, and he could not believe what he saw. He got an A+! Him an A+. He could not believe it.

The whole day went by in a blur, and as soon as school was over he raced home to his mom, and told her the wonderful news. He relised how happy the grade had made him, and promised himself that he will always get good grades.
