went to bed last night and had a weird dream. Here's what I dreamed:I was in this unknown land in a place called the Dark Forest. A chill ran down my back and I was terrified. As I turned around, a shadow passed me. I was in an empty place where nobody was living in. I looked for some sort of sign that could help me get home. None. I looked for some people to help me. None. Then I heard a noise coming from behind this big black tree. I walked to the tree and saw a small figure cloaked in a black cape, which was small and was bending over. It turned around and I saw its face.
It was a small boy, very small. When I asked him for help he ran away and disappeared into the night.
Then, he came back and he said, " You have reached the Dark Forest. Welcome, welcome to this place. The only way out of here is by answering riddles hidden in the Dark Forest. Good Luck." And then he vanished again.
Before I could even ask him which riddles he was talking about, he had disappeared and I was confused. I walked up to this small house and knocked on the door. The door creaked open. There were cobwebs all over and I could tell that it was a very, very old house. No one was there and I started calling out, "Hello. Hello." No answer. Something was wrong. Then, I heard a noise coming from a room. There was a dim light coming from the same room. I walked into the room and found a candle on this brown dusty table. Then I saw something that I would never forget. It was a wizard.
He was standing with a stern face and was asking me to sit down. I asked him about some information on the riddles and he told me to find them on my own.
He said, "Little girl, there is a riddle in this very house, but only the brave can make it to the top of this house where the riddle is hidden."
I was shivering and he handed me a dirty blanket. I told him that I didn't need the blanket. I then walked up the freaky stairs and heard a scream. I heard ghosts chanting and haunting. I entered a large hallway and opened a door.
"Hello, hello," said a voice. I turned around and say a small talking carpet. "I can help you find this riddle," he said."What was all that ghost noises that I heard?" I asked.
"Oh I was just practicing what to say when you got up here," he replied.
"Can you really help me?" I asked.
"Yes," he replied.
So he showed me this small frame and dusted the dust off. It revealed a picture of a lady in black. She started to talk and I was so scared but the carpet told me to listen to her, for she was the riddle.
She said, "Hello, my child. I can tell that you really want to get out of this dream."
"Yes, I do. I am really scared here," I replied.
"Don't worry, you're safe in this room," she said. Then she told me the riddle:
"In this dark forest, you will find 2 riddles and this is one. You will also find purple stones with specks of gold in them. Find 3 of these stones and answer both of the riddles correctly. When you have done that, put the stones in your pocket and say that you want to go home. You will be home in a second and if you are lucky, you will still have something in your pocket. Anyway, here is the riddle:
In this house you will find a "rodo". Unscramble that word and go through that to help you out of this house."
"Hmmmmm. I wonder what it is. Hey!!!! I got it! It's the door," I said.
I thanked the carpet and the photo frame and I ran all the way down the stairs. I ran out the door and I was gone! Just when I was so happy, I tripped over a stone. When I noticed what I had picked up, I realized that it was a purple stone with a few gold specks in the middle! I put in my pocket and started looking for more, not knowing that I would soon encounter with another riddle.
"OOOFF," I cried. I had just bonked my head into a tall star tree lined with stars. A riddle read itself to me:
" You have to enter through the chamber of the dark forest. Unscramble these words to find out where it is located. Here are the unscrambles: tis ghirt hbedin em"
"Oh no! Not another unscramble! Okay I better unscramble this now if I ever want to get out of this dream. Hmmmm. Hey, maybe tis stands for its. Ghirt might stand for right. Hbedin might stand for behind and em might stand for me. I got it! The riddle says, its right behind me!!!!!!" I screamed with joy!!!!!
I then looked behind the tree and saw this dark forest with broken down trees and eerie noises. I was terrified. I still walked inside and started to look for stones. I bumped into a tree, and all these bats came flying out. I ran some more and a purple stone fell into my hand from somewhere. I put it into my pocket and started looking for the last one. Then, from behind a big bush, I saw a light. I walked behind the bush and saw the last stone with its gold glowing. I put it in my pocket and then saw these bats flying towards me! Right before they were about to tackle me I screamed, "I WANT TO GO HOME!!!!!!!!"
In just seconds, I found myself in my bed at home. I jumped out of bed and hugged my mom who was making breakfast.
On the way back to my room, I tripped over something. And sure enough, it was a purple stone with gold in the middle.
