nce in a time of loss and sorrow, there was a girl on the streets of Tarran, with a little girl beside her. This girl was her little cousin, who had run away from her parents because they only cared about money and their business. But the girl's mother was gone, for when the girl was born, her mother had only time to say one word, her name, Daphne, before raiders burst in and stole Daphne's beautiful mother away to a far off land, called Morr.It was a cold and dreary day, with a lot of blizzards, with a lot of toddlers staring at them, but what made the day most interesting of all was that Daphne's little cousin, Clara, found a magical ring near a trash can where they were searching for food. The ring would bring whatever they said to them. Then Dahpne sighed, remembering her mother had a ring just like this, and she said to Clara," I wonder, if I put this ring on, will I look like my mother?"
"You can try," eagerly said Clara.Daphne put on the ring while holding the warm hands of Clara in her arms. Suddenly, she felt a whoosh of air, and both of them were standing in a grand palace, and in front of them, was Daphne's mother, dressed in rich dresses, but looking mad. When they suddenly appeared in front of her though, she first looked astonished, but then she shouted out with anger.
"What are these ugly children doing in my palace!" Dapne's mother shouted."Take them down to the dungeon!"And before the children could cry out, ten soldiers swept in the room and dragged them into a moldy and damp prison. But there was already someone in the room. It looked like a woman who had fair skin covered with soot. When Daphne and Clara went closer, Depne suddenly cried out,"Mother, this is you! This is really you! I can see now!"
"Daphne?" said the woman. "Yes, it is me. Let's go visit your father, and let's get that ugly woman off our throne!"
"But I thought father went traveling,"said a confused Dapne.
"He found out that he was the king of Morr!" laughed Daphne's mother. And his soldiers came to rescue me when you were born! But then an imposter who had a fiery temper disguised herself as me, and she made your father believe she was the real wife, and she secretly threw me into her secret dungeon she had ordered to be built. But now I have proof, so let us go and change these rags, and tell you're father to announce to all of Morr, we are here to celebrate!"
With the imposter gone, fuming, and her in fancy clothes with Clara in a pretty dress, they partied all night, eating delicious foods that Daphne would have never dreamed of to find in a garbage can, for it was the celebration of the princess of Morr come back from Tarran, because of a ring, a little ring that Daphne's mother had dropped when she got swept away by the king's soldiers, for Daphne's mother to get out of the imposter's secret prison, to have Morr regain their real queen and princess back, to make Clara be a duchess.... just one, but tiny magical ring that would make Daphne the most well known queen of all the world.
