"Life in Singapore"

O
nce upon a time there was a girl named Heywood. She was a girl in an international school in Singapore. She was having her second year in the school. She already had a friend named Carolyn, who was also in her second year at the school. They were best buddies. They would play at each others houses and rarely got mad at each other. They would talk a lot too. Of course, from time to time, they would get bored and just talked. They always cheered each other on in contests, unless they were against each other.

Heywood loved to play, do things that Carolyn did, pretend things, and talk about stuff. Carolyn loved to play, climb ropes, pretend things, and do things Heywood liked. As you can see, they got along very well together. Heywood and Carolyn were friends with each others friends and didn't like who the other didn't like. They always went to the Reptile Park, American club, The Bird park, and the Night zoo. They loved the night zoo, but you only could go at night.

They met, for the first time, in a club for many people from america to go to, it was called the American Club. They usually met on Saturdays when Carolyn had her tennis practice and Heywood was free for a short amount of time. When they always played with each other.

One day Carolyn got news, from her parents, that she was moving back to where she came from, California. Heywood and Carolyn were very sad and tried to play with each other more often. The last day Carolyn saw Heywood, was spent at the American club, in the restaurant. Carolyn was having her daily cantalope juice drink. Another friend was there, Kea. They were talking about Carolyn's birthday party in a fancy tea place, called the Shangrila Hotel. Many of their friends were invited. They had a blast, and they also had a lot of tea.

A little later Carolyn left, And a few days later she really left, like to California. Heywood and Carolyn still kept in touch. After a little bit Heywood and one of Carolyn's old friend, Helen, started playing together. They had a lot of fun, too. Helen also was keeping in touch with Carolyn through e-mail. The group of three typed about how school work had gone up in Singapore and how fifth grade was the grade that the homework was put on tightly. From then on Carolyn, Heywood, and Helen kept in touch, even sometimes visited each other.
