"At last! Thanksgiving!" Jenni thought that morning. She smelt in the oven, and she heard her mother chopping vegetables. Jenni quickly got dressed. She grabbed her and put it around her neck. Sure enough, Jenni's mother was cooking Thanksgiving dinner. Her little brother, Max, had his all over the living room floor. In the middle of the big mess, he was sitting there watching the Thanksgiving Parade. "Max, pick up this mess. This room looks like a bomb went off in it." Jenni ordered him. Max took his into the playroom. Jenni sat down on the couch and watched. Her Grandmother and Grandfather were coming over that afternoon for Thanksgiving dinner. After the parade was over, Jenni went to the kitchen and helped her mother set the table. Jenni carefully set everything on the table, making sure everything was nice. "That's good, Jenni. Now come help me put some of this on the table. I'll get the ." said Jenni's mom. Jenni took a big pot of mas! ted potatoes to the table. She took all sorts of vegetables. Out of all the she carried, she liked stuffing best. After setting the table, Jenni and her family waited for Grandma and Grandpa to come. At last they came. Then they sat down and ate. After dinner Jenni's mother and Jenni's Grandma were bustling in the kitchen to grab pies and put them on the table to eat. Jenni liked Pumpkin pie best. Max gobbled up his like a hungry wolf but was stuffed. So he didn't have any dessert. Jenni ate her's slowly. Her mother knew she's have left overs, but perhaps their dog, Sooner, would eat some of the left over vegetables. After having Thanksgiving dinner and dessert, Jenni and her family and her grandparents sat down. Jenni's grandfather took a walk with all the men and boys. Jenni's grandmother took a walk with all the women. After that, Jenni's grandparents had to leave to go to the airport. "Bye!" Jenni and her family called as they left. Before Jenni knew it, it was t! ime she went to bed. Jenni went upstairs and got ready for bed. She snuggled under the covers and quickly went a sleep after the eventful day. And that's how Jenni spent her Thanksgiving...with her family. ^_^
