Amy's "Thanksgiving"

Once a long long time ago a girl named Patience Anne Ripple sailed on a with her parents. The took them to a land where nobody had ever been before. Her father and the other men built houses, until it became a . They were soon friends with the Indians.
Sometimes they gave them , such as pretty neclesses made out of beads, or deer they had hunted. That winter was a harsh one, much colder than where they used to live. Luckily the Indians came and brought , and . They had a feast that Patience called Thanksgiving. She played games with the other Indian children.
Then they sat down and thanked got for giving them their new friends, and keeping them safe from the wild beasts.
