Kenneth's "The Mystery Of The Circus Clown"

In this story, is "stage", is "manager",
is "circus", is "table", and is "clown".

One bright day, there were two boys named Joe and James. They were brothers. Joe and James were in front of the of the show, ì Talkî.

The show had just started and a voice said, ìWelcome everyone to the Talk. The first performance will be Talky, the talking elephant.î There were applause for a minute and then an elephant came on .

The trainers tossed a peanut and the elephant grunted, ìThank you.î There was more applause.

The elephant was just about to finish its role when a came in front of the elephant and said, ìAll of you must go or you will be sorry,î The threw bugs and scared everyone away. Then when the two brothers looked through the storm of bugs, both the elephant and the were gone. The í business was doomed.

Then somebody came and said, ìHello, I am Nathan Hilos.î

ìHello,î Joe said back.

ìYou people should be out with the rest,î said Nathan, ìAfter all, you would be sorry if you stay.î

Then noticed a book and asked, ìWhat is that?î

ìNone of your business,î said Nathan as he stomped out of the .

They left and Joe said, ìWe might have a mystery that needs to be solved.î They went to their hotel room and fell asleep.

Next morning, they went to the breakfast to eat. They sat there and waited.

Finally, a waiter came and said, ìCan I help you?î

ìYes, how about an egg for each of us,î answered Joe.

ìWe only have mix-up eggs,î said the waiter.

ìO.K.î said Joe.

The waiter was just about to leave. Joe noticed that the waiter had the same book as Nathan. Joe asked, ìCan I look at that book? It looks familiar.î

ìNo way, itís my secret costume book!î answered the waiter angrily. He walked away as Joe and James ate their mix up eggs. When they finished, they went out of the hotel and waited for the bus. However, all of the buses that were available didnít go to the .

ìStrange,î said Joe after waiting a long hour. Then another bus came, but it was going to the airport.

ìI think we missed it,î said James. They got impatient and started to walk to the . When they arrived, the was already closed. They had arrived at eight and the was supposed to be closed at eleven. ìEven stranger,î said James stood at the entrance gate.

Then Nathan Hilos arrived and asked, ìWhat are you doing?î

ìTrying to go to the ,î said Joe quickly.

ìWell I am going away,î said Nathan as he walked away. When he was gone, James found his book lying on the sidewalk. He picked it up and started flipping the pages of the book. At the last page, he saw a having the same design with the one that freaked people out.

James showed it to Joe and said, ìI think we need to set a trap to catch the person that is destroying the í business. First, we pretend that there is going to be another Talk show, then the can let us borrow the elephant and trample him down.î

ìThat sounds like a good idea!î said Joe. They sprinted to the managerís house and rang the doorbell.

ìHello, what can I do for you,î said the . They told the their idea and the said no.

James asked, ìWhy?î

ìBecause I might get the to bankruptcy.î

ìYouíre getting it bankrupt right now by leaving the bad person to destroy your business.î

The next day, they got a crowd of people as the show began. The hid the elephant as Joe and James pretended to do funny stuff. Then, the showed up again but the elephant ran and trapped the .

Joe and James looked at the face and said, ìNathan Hilos.î

ìYes and my plan wouldíve worked if you werenít here.î

Joe and James got confused and asked, ìWhy did you do it.î

ìBecause the thing I didnít tell you was that I also worked at the ,î said Nathan, ìI worked at another which had nobody there because of him,î he pointed at the .

Joe asked, ìWhat about the waiter?î

ìHe helped,î said Nathan. Then the police came. They took Nathan and the waiter (from the hotel) and drove away.
