Hayden's "Jaws the Squirrel"

Jaws the Squirrel

One bright sunny day in a forest, one insolent named Jaws walked past a mature elm . Then he stopped and walked back. "My word," said Jaws, "that will make a great home!"

So he worked and worked. Finally he was finished. The next day two numbskull people came into the "Jaws" timberland.


"Hey, letís catch that ," said a guy named Bob.
"Aaah!" screamed Jaws. Jaws ran for his life. He grabbed a branch and let go. Konk! The branch hit the people on the head. Boom! They fell on the ground. Ten hours later they came to. The people tried to get up but they couldnít.
"Uh oh!" said the people for they were in the sky because 40 disobedient monkeys had picked them up and now were presenting them to their king.


"What are these?" the king bellowed.
"Gifts," the monkeys replied. Like a flash of lightening Bob and his friend shot out of the monkeyís grip and ran into the forest. Plop! Bob and his friend fell into a booby trap.
"Hey, letís not catch the . Letís let the catch us," said the people.
