here was a girl named Nuala who wanted to pick flowers from a fairy ring (a ring of rocks.) When she went to bed that night her bed was full of thorns. That was the fairie's
revenge. Then, she got into her brother Conn's bed thorns were in that bed too. Poor Nuala had to sleep on the floor. The next morning a neighboring woman came to ask for
eggs. They told her what happened. She shook her head and said this is a bad case. the only way to get rid of it is to please them in some way. I belive they love music if anyone could whistle a tune for them. Conn went to the fairy and they told him to get leaves from the top of black Mountin. He got home, put the leaves in Nuala's bed and covered them. the next night the violets were back.. Nuala got in her bed that night. There were no thorns. Conn would never tell his secret.
