N
o! Give that back!" "Hey! That's mine!" "Give it to me NOW!"
Kera, Shyla and Nathalii were arguing. "NO!" Nathalii yelled. Angry tears came rolling down her dark blue eyes. Shyla threw a banana at Kera. "Oh I'm so sorry, Kera!" she said. "I'm so sorry yourself! Now look at my new shirt! It cost 100 dollars and my mom's gonna kill me!" Kera was furious. She snarled. "Well all you think about is yourself!" Nathalii sobbed angrily. "Hey, what's going on?" There were the Playground Helpers, Amie and Ekale. "Karina is being mean! She is the meanest kid in the world!" Nathalii shouted. "Kera! And I am not!" Kera joined in. "Whatever!" Nathalii yelled. "I HATE YOU BOTH! YOU'RE DUMMIES!" Shyla was starting to get upset. "You always hurt my feelings and it's not fair! How could you--" "Excuse me! Kera and Nathalii, you are to be sent to Mr. Pynon's office. Shyla, you are to come back to your classroom with me." The Gr. 1 teacher, Ms. Huxonaa came too. But then Ashilarie, or Lari, was in the fight now. She tried throwing an apple at Alii, but it was caught on Kistar. Kistar stuck her tongue out. "You shut up! How 'bout this?" She opened the lid of her box and, one by one, threw nails at Lari. "OW!"
"Um... Kera?" Shyla asked. They weren't at their places.
"WHAT!? Go away, I won't listen to you, Stupid Manners!" Kera answered.
"Can we be friends?"
"NO."
Shyla sighed. After school, she went to bed straight away.
In two years or so, she was 8, and found out Kera got nicer, and Alii died. Kera was only 9, and Alii was only 7. Kistar was now limited. Only 3 more months and then she'd die. Kistar was only 7. Lari and Shyla became friends. They always put letters and kind memory things in their mailboxes, but Shyla would be a little scared.

Kera, Lari and Shyla thought they saw Alii and Kistar playing (in their ghost forms) around each other's graves. "Strange," Lari wondered. "I thought I heard Alii say "Hi there!"
Kera and Shyla thought "very strange..."
