マジックカードって知ってる？たいていの人はこのカードが遊ぶためにあるって思っているようだけど、ぼくはちがうんだ。ぼくはね、カードを“ごしん”用に使っているんだよ。え？どうやってって？世の中には数学以外、不可能なことはないんだ。

ぼくが初めてマジックカードを買ったのは１０才の時だった。でもそれを手に入れたとたん、まるで雪の中にいるみたいに冷たい感じが全身をおそったのさ。カードを持って店を出ると、カードを入れたふくろがふくらみ始めた。まるで何かが外に出ようともがいているみたい。ぼくはあわててふくろをやぶいてみたけど、何にも起きてない。次のしゅんかん、でっかい子がぼくのカードを見つけて、戦いをいどんできた。ぼくは「いいさ」と答えた。ねえ、君だってそういうだろう？

ぼくはペガサスを出しながら、「ベガサスにしたぞ！」とさけんだんだ。するとカードが空中にうかんで、ゴロゴロいいだした。そしてまぶしく光ると、もくもくした雲が現われて、ペガサスにすがたを変えてしまった。それはもう本物そのもの。銀色したヘルメットにさわることだってできそうなくらい。でっかい男の子が、ぼくに向ってさけびだした。「おい！君はカマハクラン族の子孫だよ！伝説は本当だったんだ！今日から６日たったら、家を出るんだよ。さあ、ぼくのカードを全部持っていって！君の助けになるよ」

ぼくはびっくりして、いったいどういうこと？とたずねました。すると「君はマジックカードの大会に出るんだ。トーナメントは１２日後に始まる。まず最初に、チャレンジャーには２０のマジックトークンがわたされる。負けたらトークンが取られる。いくつ取られるかは、相手の強さによるのさ」と、男の子が説明しました。ぼくは「ちょ、ちょ、ちょっと待って！まずはぼくたちの戦いが終わってから、考えない？とりあえずはふつうのカードでさ」と、いいました。トーナメントのことは、後で考えればいいじゃない！

any people belive Magic Cards are used to have fun, but not me. I use my cards to protect me. How is this possible? Well nothings impossible except for the mathematical stuff.
I was only 10 when I had my first Magic Cards Deck but somthing washed over me like that ice feeling you get when you're in the snow. As, I was walking out of the store the pack began to bulge like something was trying to get out. I tore open the pack,nothing was wrong. A second later a big kid saw my magic cards and wanted to duel me, so I said o.k.! Hey, wouldn't you say that!

I chose a Pagases I shouted I CHOOSE PAGASES. Imeditly the card floated in midair and rumbled. Then it shone brightly and out of the card came a cloud that shifted into a Pagases. It was so real, I could even touch its sliver matalic helmet. The boy shouted to me saying You're a descendent of the Kamaha clan! The legands are true! You are about to leave home in 6 days! please forgive me, here you can have my deck for your help!
I asked what he ment and he said You are going to enter the Magic Cards Dueling Contest, and the tournament starts in 12 days! Each challenger starts out with 20 Magic tokens. When you're beaten you lose a certain amount of tokens depending how strong the person you're battling. Wa-Wa-wait can I worry about this tommaro Let's finish our battle. Certainly so we battled with normal cards. And I worryed about the contest after we got done!
