"My Dream Which I Cannot Forget"
by

M
was at the beginning of a hallway. At the end was a 3 year old girl with curly ends of
blonde hair, a white dress, and wings. I begin to walk to her yet she turns around opens a
door and a white light appears. She walks into it and vanishes. I reach the door and
wonder what should I do? I open it and walk in. After a few steps, I rub my eyes and I'm
outside in a sand box with a jungle gym beside me. I see the little girl climbing up it. I look
around and there's no one there, except for the child and myself. She yells to me catch me
as she goes down the swirling slide. I catch her and I put her on the side of my hip. She
looks at me with her sky blue eyes and says,
" Etu Annah."
I look at her, the wind passing her cheeks and lifting her curly hair. I ask,
" What does that mean?" And all she says is , " Etu Annah."
I am bewildered, and all in one moment the girl jumps from my hands and closes her eyes,
kneels down, puts her hands together and says with her soft voice,

" La Lord, bess de width dar," and suddenly another door appears and she opens it
and again appears the white light. She turns around to me, and says,

" Come!" She puts her hand out and I walk towards her, and we walk through the light
together. We end up in a small child's room. She drops my hand and walks to the bed,
where another little girl with curly ends of blonde hair lied. The little girl bends down to
the one sleeping in the bed and gives her a kiss on the forehead. The child in the bed does
not awaken. The little girl turns to me and points to the girl in the bed, she says,

" Mah Sasta, Emma!" I looked at her funny and repeated the words, " mah sasta,
Emma," in my head. It finally came to me that the little girl meant my sister Emma. I told
the little girl,

" Is that your sister?" She replies, " Mah sasta!" I began to understand the little girl
and I start to realize she knows very little English ,, and she has a problem pronouncing
most words. I think back at when she said, " Etu Annah?" and I ask the little one still
looking at her sister,

" Is your name Annah?" She replies, " Yes." I am beginning to understand her.
Although after she replied yes, I was wondering why Annah had wings and Emma did not?
Then it hit me, Annah is an angel, and she is watching over her sister. Then another thing
hit me, Annah and Emma were twins. They looked identical, and I wondered why I never
noticed it before? I walked up to Annah and asked,

" Why do you have wings, and Emma don't?" Annah replied, " Emma no die, Annah
did. I die in car crash at tree year old."
I look at Annah and then Emma and wonder why did Annah have to die? Why can't Emma
have a sister that is alive? Why did she have to lose her sister? She was three years old
too. Why did the lord have to take Annah at such a young age? I look at Annah again, and
she just smiles at her sister who is asleep. A tear begins to fall from my red eyes. I wipe
my eyes so the little girl would not see. Annah turns back at my and says,

" Got down." She got to her knees and I followed her knowing she meant get down.
She put her hands together, and I did the same. She closed her eyes and so did I. She said,

" La Lord, bess width dar." A door appears, and we stand up and she takes her hand
and reaches for the doorknob, turns it slightly and it opens. A white light appears and we
walk through it once again to the hallway where we last started our journey. I ask her
Why she took me here? She said Because its time for her to leave. I tell her no do not
leave me. She tells me to walk to the other end of the hallway. I get halfway and turn
around she is waving goodbye, and I am crying. She tells me to go and I tell her no. She
tells me please with a smile upon her face. I tell her ok, I continue to walk once I reach
the end, I turn around again before opening another door that appeared. Her curly hair is
blowing and her blue eyes are shining like stars. She walks through the light and vanishes.
I open the door and I am in my bed. I jump out of my bed and zoom down the stairs to the
hallway which was in my dream, nothing was there. I go upstairs to the room beside me
and run towards the bed. I look and there lie my sister, three year old Kylie. I sit on the
floor, and hold her hand tight. She does not awaken. An hour later my sister is awake. I
look at her and notice a smile upon her face, blonde with curly ends, and sparkling blue
eyes. I ask Kylie to get on her knees and close her eyes and put her hands together. She
does as I asked her, and I say,
" La lord, take good care of thy Annah and Emma."
