here once was a little lass,
Beth Anne was her name,
Her family was ever so rich,
Her life was filled with fame.
One day, her Da surprised her
with some tickets for a cruise
on the Grand and rich TITANIC
which was all over the news.
As they boarded this Grand boat
with their tickets clutched so tight,
they couldn't help but wonder
at it's power and her might.
Swift sailing did they have at first,
until that dreadful night
when it scraped against an iceberg
and things didn't look to bright.
The ship began to fill up
and people began to panic,
the ship was slowly sinking,
the 'unsinkable' TITANIC.
two frightening hours passed them by,
until the TITANIC fianlly sunk,
Beth Anne sat in the lifeboat shivering,
while a lady wailed the loss of a jewel trunk.
Early next morn, The Carpathia rescued them,
Beth Anne was glad that she still had her life,
and her Mother, sister, and brother,
and was glad that it was over, that night of strife.
