あるところに、トミーという名前の男の子がいました。トミーはとてもよくお勉強ができました。その上、フットボールのせんしゅです。毎週土よう日は、フットボールの試合に出かけます。あるよくはれた水よう日のこと、先生が「今度の土よう日はテストですよ」と、いいました。トミーは勉強をしなくても、いつもテストで１００点を取っていました。そこでお母さんが「勉強しなさいよ」といったときも、「土よう日にはフットボール試合があるんだもん」と、いいわけをして、勉強しませんでした。

土よう日、先生がみんなにテスト用紙をくばります。けれどもトミーはチンプンカンプン。１時間後、先生がテスト用紙をあつめました。トミーはぜんぜん自信がありません。試合でもテストのことが気になって、ミスばかりしていました。トミーはお母さんのいうことを聞かないで勉強をしなかったことを、とてもはんせいしました。そしてつぎからは、試合があっても勉強しようときめたのでした。

nce upon a time there was a boy named Tomy.He was a very smart boy at school.Also he was a football player.Every Saterday he plays a football match.And one day in a beautiful Wendeseday the teacher told the children that they will have an exam.Tomy thought that he always passes his exam perfectly so no need to study.His mother told him to study but he told her that he has a match on Saterday and that he has to excersise for it.

On Saterday Tomy went to school and when the teacher gave the children the exam he read it but he did not understand anything.After an hour the taecher took the papers.Tomy was not sure with his answers.He even could not consentrate in the match.Tomy felt sorry for what he did.And promised to study even if he had a match
