 iiiiinngg!!!
Christine yawned and wacked her alarm clock to silence it. She
sat up in bed and glanced over at Allison's (Her sister) bed.
It was empty. That was strange because today was Saterday and
Allison ALWAYS slept in. Christine shrugged and stepped out of
bed. She wrapped a robe around her and walked downstairs, past
the bathroon. It was empty. That was alos very unusual since
her brother, Steve, spent an hour in there everyday!! As she
entered the kitchen, she sniffed the air for the normal aroma
of scrambled eggs, bacon, and toast. There was none. "Mom?
Dad?" She called, getting a little bit worried. She ran
back upstairs and flew into her parent's bedroom. Their bedroom
was empty. "Calm down, they probably just went to the grocery
store and didn't want to wake me up." She decided. One hour
passed, then two, three, four, five, six. Where were they? She
turned the t.v. on, hoping it would take away her worries. She
screamed at what she saw next. Horrific stories fil! led the
screen about millions of peolpe dissapearing. "Was it aliens
who abducted them? If so, will they be coming back for us?"
The reporter announced. Christine knew it wasn't aliens. The
biggest earthqaukes the world had ever seen!! Christine collapsed
into sobs. Her family had been saved, but she hadn't bothered.
She didn't think it was true! But it was!! |
