パパはフォークリフトからおりようとして、バランスをくずしてしまいました。４０００パウンドのフォークリフトがパパの上に落ちてきました。フォークリフトをどかすのに、たくさんのおまわりさんが来ました。パパはずっと前、わたしに「こんなことが起きたら、生きていられるようにおいのりをするんだ」と、いっていました。パパはジェット機で病院へ運ばれました。そして２ヵ月、病院にいました。 わたしたちは、パパが死んでしまうにちがいないと思いました。だれもどうなるか、わかりません。わたしたちは毎週、おみまいへ行きました。病院のごはんはひどかったのですが、パパはどんどんよくなってきました。パパはしばらく車いすにのっていました。退院したときには、まだ足を引きずっていましたが、歩けるようになっていました。 まだぜんぶはよくなっていませんが、パパはいっしょうけんめいがんばって、助かったのです。パパがあんなにひどい事故から立ち直ったのは、本当にラッキーだったと思います。 |
y dad was taking off marketpackson a forcliff. He was coming off and he couldn't keep his balence. A 4000 lbs. forcliff fell over and smashed my dad. It took many policemen to get this forcliff off. My dad told me once when this happened he was praying he would live. He went to the hospital. He stayed there for two months. He went to the hospital in a jet.
Our dad might die, we thought. Nobody new what happened. We went to our dad every week. Their food was bad but he was getting better. My dad was in a wheelchair for awhile. Eventully he came out. He was limping but could walk.
My father is still getting over it. He put up a good fight to save his life. He is lucky that he could survive in a horrible nightmare that bad.
