「いやいや！、どうしてこんなことになっちゃったの？」

わたしは小屋へ向かって、いちもくさんに走っていました。地面には赤い点々がつづいています。その先には一匹の犬。犬ガわたしのウサギを口にくわえて走っているのです。わたしは泣きさけびました。わたしは犬をつかまえると、口からウサギを取り上げました。そしてかけ出しました。

お兄さんが来て、犬をおどかしてくれました。ああ、よかった！わたしはウサギが助かったと思いました。けれどもちがっていたのです。ウサギはわたしにしがみつきながら、うでの中で、しんでいたのです。

I sprinted to the barn. All I saw was a blood
trail with little red dots leading to a dog with my rabbitin his mouth. I started wailing. I went over to the dog and grabbed the rabbit out of his mouth and we ran.

My brother ran over and scared the dog away. I was very happy.I thought my rabbit was okay, but I was wrong.The only thing that happened was my rabbit died in my arms while it was clinging on to me.
