どうしてカラスの声はあんなにひどくて、羽は黒くてみにくいか、知っている？それはね、こんな理由なのです。

ずっとむかし、「ジャンプビーン」という美しい森に、アトランティスという名前のカラスが住んでいました。ジャンプビーン森は鳥たちの天国です。たくさんの鳥が住んで、鳥の女王様のため、かわいい歌を歌ったり、天使のようなダンスをおどったりしました。森には笑いと幸せが満ちあふれています。アトランティスはこうした鳥たちの中でも、もっとも美しく、きれいな声を持つ鳥でした。

アトランティスの羽は金色でとてもなめらか、そしてその声ときたら、あまりにあまくきれいなので、女王様まで歌を歌ったり、鳥たちとダンスをおどったりするほどでした。けれどもほかの鳥たちは、おもしろくありません。そこであることを計画しました。

ある日、ワシが「やあ、アトランティス、マフィンを作ったんだよ。おひとつ、いかが？」と、いいました。「やあ、ありがとう。ワシ君」と、アトランティスは答えました。けれどもマフィンの中には、ベタベタするノリが入っていたのです。ノリがアトランティスののどにくっつきました。アトランティスはもう、きれいな声で歌を歌うことができません。鳥の女王様はアトランティスのひどい声を聞いて、かんかんに怒りました。そしてアトランティスの羽の色を真っ黒に変えると、ジャンプビーン森から追い出してしまいました。

それからというもの、黒いカラスはシワガレ声で歌を歌うようになったのです。

Once aupon a time there lived a crow called Atlantis in a lovely forest called "Jumpbean Wood". "Jumpbean Wood" is the heaven of birds. Hundreds and thousands of birds lived there and sang sweet songs and danced like angels to the queen of bird, it was a sweet forest where laughter and happiness stayed. And Atlantis was the most beautiful and wonderful bird among them.

He has got feathers smooth and golden, her voice was so sweet that even the queen can followed the song and danced with the other birds. This made the other birds very displeased indeed. So they decided ........

"Oh my dear Atlantis, I have make tour some muffins, would you like to have some?" said Eagle one day." surely yes, my friend...." he answered, but she couldn't know that there was some sticky, terrible glue in the muffins and made her throat stuck after he ate. This make the queen really displeased. She was so angry to heard the horrible, scary voice of Atlantis. So she make some magic on him and made his feather black and thrust him out of "Jumpbean Wood".
And till now we can see, the black crow singing horrible songs...........
