ある日、学校から帰る途中、トムの横にりっぱなリムジンが止まりました。ウィンドウがスルスルと開いて、中からだれかが「乗りなさい。家まで送ってあげよう」と、いいました。

トムは頭のよい子ですから、知らない人の車に乗ったりなんかしません。トムは「なんてカッコいい車だろう」と思いながらも、ていねいに断わりました。すると車のドアが開いて、中から人が降りてくると、トムを車の中へ引っぱりこみました！車を見ているひまもありません。その人は、真っ暗な車の中から、とつぜん現われたように見えました。

よく見ると、それは緑色した大きな怪物でした！大きな口をぱっくり開けると、トムを丸ごと飲み込もうとしています！トムは思わず、目を閉じました。怪物のあたたかいベタベタしたよだれが、顔につきます。

そのとき、トムは目をさましました。全部、ゆめだったのです！！

あ〜あ、びっくりした！！！

om was walking home from school one day when he saw a big limo pull beside him. The window rolled down and some one said "Hop in and I'll give you a lift home".

Now Tom was a smart boy and he knew not to get a lift from strangers, "But" he thought "The car is so cool!". He politely said no thanks. But as he said it the door opened and the owner of the voice pulled him into the car! Tom did not have time to see how great the car was because the person who pulled him into the car was emerging from the shadows.

It was a huge green monster! It opened it's mouth and tried to swallow Tom whole! Tom closed his eyes and felt the warm spit of the monster around him. then he woke up and found out it was all a dream, and he had a little accident! WOOPS!!!!
