むかしあるところに、アンという名前のキリンがいました。アンはアフリカにすんでいます。アンのしんゆうは、いぼいのししです。いぼいのししの名前は、タスクスといいました。タスクスとアンはなかよしで、いっしょにくらしています。けれどもある日、アンがいいました。「わたしのことを、つっつけたら、５００ドルあげる」

タスクスは、「ふふん、できるさ。ぼくにはりっぱなキバがあるからね」と、いいました。

アンは、「ああら、わたしにはなが〜い首があるんだから。これであなたのことを、つっついてあげる。明日のあさ、５時にあいましょう」と、いいました。

アンもタスクスも、よういばんたん。つぎのあさになりました。けんぶつ人もたくさん、あつまっています。さあ、１、２、３！アンとタスクスは、おして、おして、おしあいました。そして、２ひき、どうじに、ころがりました。けんぶつ人は、それを見て、大よろこびです。

nce there was a giraffe and her name was Ann. She lived in Africa. Her best friend was a warthog. His name was Tusks. Tusks and Ann lived together so nicely, but one day, Ann said, "I bet you $500 if you can butt me."
"You bet I can butt you. I've got strong tusks to butt you with, " said Tusks.
"Well, I have my long neck to butt you with. I will meet you tomorrow at 5 a.m."
"Okay."

So they got ready. The next morning, they met. There was a big crowd. 1, 2, 3, they began. They pushed and pushed and pushed, but they pushed each other down. The crowd cheered.

The moral of the story: everybody is strong.
