あるところに、ティナという名前の女の子がいました。ティナはペッドにすわりながら、ヌイグルミのトウィーティをかかえています。その時、だれかがドアをノックしました。お姉さんのアリサです。アリサは１２才、ティナはまだ７才です。アリサはティナに「夕ご飯の時間よ」と、いいました。

そこでティナはトウィーティをベッドの上におくと、キッチンへ降りていきました。階段を降りていると、お父さんがいました。「パパ！！！！」ティナは階段を走り降りながら、大声を出しました。そしてお父さんのうでをしっかりとつかみました。ティナは今日丸一日、お父さんに会っていません。ティナにとって、それは１年も会わなかったかのよう。家族はテーブルにつくと、食前の短いお祈りをして、食事を始めました。「ちょっと！」と、アリサが大声を出しました。お兄さんのダートンがフォークをアリサのマッシュポテトに突きさしたのです。

「ダートン、やめて。ちゃんとあやまりなさい？」と、お母さんが言いました。

「ごめんなさ〜い！！！！」と、ダートンが言いました。

夕ご飯の後、家族は水着に着替えて、外に出ました。

「おまえより先にプールに入ってやる！」と、ダートンがアリサに言いました。

「わたしが先よ」と、アリサが答えます。

ダートンは、親指からそろそろとプールの中へ足を入れていきました。「うわぁ、なんて」と、水の冷たさに文句を言おうとしたところ、アリサが走ってきて、ダートンの目の前でプールの中へ飛びこみました。

「な、な、なんなんだよ」と、ダートンがいいました。

「何よ。お兄ちゃん」と、アリサが言い返します。

「待て〜！！」と、ダートンは言うと、水の中に入って、アリサのことを追いかけ始めました。ティナはと言うと、つい立てのそばへイスを引きずっているところです。つい立てからは夕焼けが見えます。空の反対側には月が浮かんでいました。

１０分後、ティナはみんなといっしょにプールへ入りました。ライトがつくまで、プールで遊びます。次の日、ティナは目をさますと、ベッドにすわって、ナイトスタンドにかざってある家族の写真を手に取りました。そして昨日の夜のことを考えました。そしてどんなに家族のことを愛しているだろうと思いました。お兄さんのことも、お姉さんのことも。そう、ティナももうすぐお姉さんになるのです。「もうすぐ妹か弟ができて、イジワルすることができるのよ。待ち切れないわ！」ティナはそう言うと、ニッコリ笑いました！！！

ne day a girl named Tina was siting on her bed, holding her stuffed toy tweety bird in her arms. All of a sudden there was a knock at the door. It was her bigger sister Alysa. Alysa was 12 but Tina was only 7. Alysa said "its time for dinner Tina"

So, Tina set Tweety down on her bed and went to the kitchen. As she was coming down the stairs she saw her dad! "DADDY!!!!" She yelled as she ran down the stairs and grabed his arms , while he spone her around. She hadent seen him for a whole day, which to her seemed like a whole year. As every one sat around the table they all said grace and then started eating."HEY"Alysa yelled, her older brother Daton had just thrown a fork of mash potatoes at her.

"Stop that and say you are sorry said there mom!"

"Sorrrrryyyy," said Daton!!!

After dinner everyone put on there swimmin suits and went out back to the pool.

"I bet you I will get in befor you" said Daton!

"I bet you wont" said Alysa!!!

Daton stuck his big toe in followed by his foot into the pool."oh my g-"just as he was begining to complain about how cold the water was, Alysa ran by and jumped into the water right in front of him!

"You , you, you"said Daton.

"you what.. big bro"said Alysa.

"I'll get you." said Daton as he lonched off the steps into the water chasing Alysa! As for Tina she pulled a lawn cair over to the side of the screen. She was starring through the screen up at the half of the sun that was still showing.Then she looked at the moon that was raising on the other side.

About ten minutes later Tina got in the pool with everyone else.They all stayed in the pool till its lights came on. The next day Tina woke up sat straight up in her bed and grabed the picture of her and her family sitting on her night stand.She was thinking about last night .And about how much she loved her family and everyone in it even her big brother and sister. Mostly becuase she was about to become a big sister herself."I can't wait to be able to pick on somebody that can't do anything about it"she said, followed by a giggle!!!
