今日はわたしの初めてのおたんじょう日。わたしは２階で、赤ちゃん用のベッドにはいってます。ピンクのちっちゃなドレスを着て、かみにはピンクのリボン。そこへ女の人がやってきて、わたしのことをだきあげました。わたしはその人のことを、ポン、ポンッて勢いよくけとばしたの。だけど、オシャブリをくわえさせられて、お口の中はいっぱい。しょうがない。おとなしくしなくっちゃ。

みんながわたしにキスしたり、だきしめたりするものだから、すっかり目がさめちゃった。するととつぜん、明りがきえて、なにかが近づいてきました。それはゆうれいみたいに、フワフワとういています。

光はわたしの前で止まりました。明りがついて。。。わたしのバースデーケーキ！ケーキには白いおさとうがかぶっていて、横には青いおさとうで「モンスター」と書いてあります。わたしはどういうわけか、ケーキの中に顔をつっこまなくちゃっと思いこんで、ブシュッと顔をいれました。なんだか、とてもりっぱなことをしたみたい。

だけど、ママがわたしの後をおっかけて、それだけがほんと、こまっちゃった。

t was my first birthday. I was upstairs in my crib wearing a little pink dress with my pink bow in my hair. Just then a lady grabbed me, so I kicked her. Then BAM, my mouth was stuck, because a pacifier was in there. So I had no choice but to cooperate.

I opened my eyes because people started to kiss and give me hugs.

Then the lights went out and something came towards me, it was floating like a wandering ghost.

Then it stopped right in front of me. Then the lights came back on and I saw it was my birthday cake. It was covered with white frosting with blue frosting on the side "It's a monster," I thought so I had no choice but to shove my face in the cake and that is what I did. I felt like I was a hero.

My only problem, I had was my Mom was chasing me.
