ずっと昔、ある遠いところにある土地に、変わり者のおじいさんが住んでいました。おじいさんはバトミントンが大好き。おじいさんはこれまで、カナダにしか住んだことがありません。おじいさんの名前は「D」といいました。なぜなら、おじいさんはアルファベットの中、「D」しか知らなかったのです。おじいさんはゾウと仲良しでした。ゾウのおかげで、シャワーを浴びることができます。おじいさんにはフランクというお友だちがいました。フランクもおじいさんと同じくらい、貧乏です。二人はお金をギャンブルでなくしてしまいました。今では神様だけが、二人を救うことができます。

「神様、どうぞお助けください」と、Dが泣きながら、いいました。「神様だけが、私たちを救い出してくれるのです」と、フランクがつづけました。二人はギャンブルでお金を使いはたして、食べるものもゴミ箱から集めてくるありさまです。その上、学校は幼稚園に行っただけでした。二人の両親は、二人のことをちっともかまわなかったのです。けれども二人はいつも仲良しでした。ところがある日、二人はゴミ捨て場で、スーツケースに入ったお金を見つけました。１０億ドルもあります！二人はどうしたらいいか、分かりませんでした。

二人は新しいマンションとスポーツカーを買って、辺りで一番のお金持ちになりました。「君も好きな車を買いなよ」と、Dがいいました。「ぼくはあそこにあるフェラーリがいいな」と、フランクがいいました。二人はおいしいオレンジやストロベリー、バナナ、リンゴをたくさん食べました。何人かのお友だちは、あのお金は神様がくれたんだといいました。今では二人はすっかり元気になって、毎日、楽しくくらしています。

long time ago, in a far away land lived a creepy old man. Badminton was his favorite sport of all. Canada was the only country he had lived in. "D" was his name, he picked it because it was the only letter he knew. Elephants were his favorite animal because they would help give him showers. Frank his friend was as poor as him because they both lost a gambling bet together. God was the only person who could save them both from a young death.

"Help," cried D. "Only if god could help us from a young death," explained Frank. Idiots they both were to bet all their money gambling. Junk was what they were eating from garbage cans everyday. Kindergarten was the grade that they had left school because their parents didn't care for them. Liking each other lot as friends , they would always be friends. Money they found in one of the garbage bins it was a billion dollars in a suitcase. Neither of them knew what to do with it.

Owning a new manchine and a Dodge Viper, they were the richest in their area. "Pick what car you want," asked D. "I want that Ferrari over there," replied Frank. Quincy the guy that won all their money felt sorry for them so he gave it back. Ripe oranges, strawberries, bananas, and apples was all they pretty much ate. Some of their friends think that god granted them the money.

Today they both have very healthy and fun lives. Until the money they found was all gone by gambling. Victorious people that won the money,were very happy with all the money they won. Wanted as criminals now for stealing a
ten million from the guys that won it from them. X-rays showed that the people were not very healthy with broken bones and everything. Young but dead ,they were great people at heart. Zebras were now their bodies.
