あるひ、ぼくはつかまえられて、はこのなかへ、いれられました。そうして、がっこうへ、つれていかれました。はこのふたがあいたので、ぼくはきょうしつじゅうを、はいまわりました。それからまた、はこのなかへいれられました。はっぱもたくさん、はいりました。はっぱは、ぼくのエサになります。ぼくは、はっぱをムシャムシャとたべました。そして、さなぎをつくりました。ぼくがさなぎからでると、こどもたちは、はこをあけて、おそらへとばしてくれました。

oday I got caught and put in a box. And then they took me to the school and then they opened the case and I crawled all around the room. And then I got put in a cage. And I had lots of leaves in there to eat. And then I ate some leaves. And then I made a chrysalis. And then I went out of my chrysalis and the kids took me outside and opened the cage and then I flew away.
