dog with no work ethic was lumbering around the room looking for the most comfortable place to snooze when Gonta opened the door a crack and peered in.Gonta waited for the dog to settle. It was facing away from him so he crept silently into the shop to return the rice he had stolen. Just as he placed the rice on the counter the dog roused and gave a loud bark.
Gonta was so startled he jumped a foot in the air and landed with a thud that echoed through the shop. He ran from the shop with the dog nipping at his heels.
Fear fueled his steps and the laziness of the dog allowed Gonta to escape unharmed.
