Katie's "A Bird's Trouble With Its Eggs"

In this story, is "tree",
is "bird", and is "nest".

Once upon a time, there was a , and she had eggs. None of them had hatched yet.

The mother and the father were afraid that the eggs wouldn’t hatch because it was winter, and it was probably too cold for the eggs to hatch.

The mother tried to find the warmest she could find. But it was very hard.

She tried to peck on a little girl's window. The little girl could hear the so she opened the window and started coughing. Her mother came in and yelled,

“Shut that window now!”

“But Mommy,” said the girl, “There’s a and her eggs are trying to hatch, but its too cold. Can we help them?”

“OK” said her mom.

So the little girl wrapped the eggs in a blanket and they hatched! They kept them as pets.
