As they approached the drop, Samantha closed her eyes. She screamed as they fell, leaving her stomach behind. ZOOM!!! Her dark hair flew in the air. She held ly to the bar. Slowy, they stopped. Samantha, or Sammy, as they called her, looked at her friend, Myriah Elizabeth. Myriah Elizabeth (Myri) stared back. " That was a cool coaster!" she said. Sammy agreed. It was awesome. They got out and walked away leaving "The Monster" behind them. It was mid- July, and 12-year-old Samantha Norson, and Myriah Elizabeth Sean were spending the day at Crazee Land Amusement Park. It was only 10 o'clock, and the s still had tons of rides to go on.

By 12: 50, they were hungry and went to buy lunch. Myri got a hot dog and grape soda, and Sammy got a burger, fries and pepsi. They went on more rides, and by 8:05 they decided to go home. Myri reached in her pocket for bus money, but it was gone. Instead there was a hole. "Oh no!" she exclaimed. She checked her other pockets but the money was gone. They began to walk home. Rain began pouring. A car pulled up. It was a white Jaguar. A guy was inside. He opened the window. '' Wanna ride?" he asked. Sammy peered into his car. She gasped. He had a gun.

"No," she said.
"C'mon, you have to get in!"
"No!"she shouted and ran.

Myri followed. They ran for a long time. Finally, they saw a house with a BLOCK PARENT sticker in the window. They rang the bell. A rather round woman answered. "What is troubling you, my children?" the woman asked, in a kind spanish accent. The woman brought them inside. Sammy explained. The woman gave them warm drinks. She had a daughter their age, who shared her dry clothes. The woman, Ms. Biarra, dialed their parents.

Soon they were picked up. Mr. Norson and Mrs. Sean thanked the family and they left in their cars. Myri, Samantha and Rosa were best friends after that and found out they were in the same class at school, and everything turned out fine.
