decided to ask five different people about what they think makes a better pet. The choices are a dog, a cat, a rabbit, a fish or a hamster. In my opinion, I think that all but the best choice depends on you. Are you an outgoing person or do you have a lot of time on your hands? Are you ready for a big responsibillity and a lifetime commetment? Here are the results of my survey.
First, I asked my grandma. She said, "I would rather own a cat because they're less expensive than other pets. They're also clean independent and have a sweet disposition. I have four of them, I would know." Next, I asked my neighbor, Amanda what her opinion was. Amanda said, "A hamster would make a better pet for me because you can watch them and just stare at them for hours in amazemant. They are very interasting. Hamsters are currious creatures and wonderful, fuzzy little friends!" After that, I asked my friend, Dominique. Dominique said, "I would rather have a dog because you can play around with them and you can also walk them." She said that another reason she would rather own a dog is because when dogs are little, they are cute and cuddly.
Another person I asked was my sister, Hillary. Like my grandma, she chose a cat. Hillary picked cats because they're sweet, they use a litter box, they're neat and thet can purr when you pet them. Hillary said, "Cats are cuddly and playful. My cat wakes me up every morning by sitting on my head and purring really loudly!" Lastly, I asked my best friend, Charlee what she would rather own. She also chose a cat. Charlee said that cats would make a better pet because they're nice and fluffy. You can train them to do really neat tricks. Cats can also purr.
In conclusion, cats won, hands down! Most opinions were that cats are neat, easy to take care of, and are very cuddly and playful. They seem to be less expensive and a great house pet.
