"How to Catch a Lucky Leprechaun"
by
Sarah

Have you ever caught a lucky leprechaun? Once a little girl was walking down a path and saw some clover. She tried to look for a four lear clover. At first she couldn't find one but then she spotted just one four leaf clover. She wanted a clover because she had heard that it was the secret way to catch a leprechaun. She thought if she could find a giant four leaf clover she might be able to catch one tiny little leprechaun. She took her magnifying glass and held it up to the clover she had found. She waited.

While she hid in the clover and waited, she sang a song about sunshine, flowers, cool breezes and running brooks. She knew leprechauns liked those things. By and by just before sundown, there came a leprechaun. She slowly reached her hand out and caught him. Then she pulled him close and saw that he was crying. She put him down so he could go home. That very minute she decided that the best way to catch a leprechaun is in your imagination.
