"Kim"

Johnny was studying his chin in the bathroom mirror. He was looking for a beard- but being 12, of course he didn't have one. He walked back into his bedroom, and pulled on a black t-shirt, some army combats and a pair of trainers. "I'm going out!" he yelled to his Mum and Dad. He grabbed his mobile phone and shoved it in his pocket. It was flashing, he had a text message, but he left it. "Stupid phone" he murmured.

A few hours later he came out of the cinema, yawning. It was 1 o'clock. The phone in his pocket was ringing like mad, but he left it and began walking home. When Johnny was on the highstreet, he was surprised.
The highstreet would normally have a couple of gangs in it, and all the shops would be closed. But tonight there was a soft, white light glowing from window. He could hear someone saying something that sounded like: "ooooooo eeeeeeeee". He started jogging back the other way, but the glowing light followed him through the shop windows. Suddenly, the one in front of smashed. He ducked to the floor to avoid the shards of glass from cutting him. When he looked up, there was a young girl standing in front of him.

"Johnny", she said softly, "I am Kim. I need you. I died two years ago I need a living soul to bring me back".
Johnny screamed. As he tried to run past her, she stepped in front of him and he ran straight through her. He felt a dragging feeling slowing him down. He ran even faster, but nothing happened.

Three days later, the police where investigating a missing boy. All that was found on the highstreet, where an anonymous tipster had last seen the boy, where a pile of clothes, a pool of blood draining through the sewer, and a phone, ringing like mad.
