nce there was
a little delivery girl named Lady Henderson who lived in Maggie
Valley, North Carolina with her aunt Eva in an apartment on top
of her aunt's owned bakery in town.
Lady's parents lived in Lyndonville,
Vermont up north. The reason Lady and her parents were apart
was because Lady had always wanted to be a delivery girl, and
they didn't allow delivery girls Lady's age to exist in Vermont,
they only allowed it in North Carolina. And since Mrs. Henderson's
sister lived there (Lady's aunt) they allowed Lady to go there.
Before Lady was about to take off
to North Carolina, Mr. and Mrs. Henderson promised that they
would keep on trying to get a job there. But since that time,
Lady lived happily with her aunt on top of the bakery.
