タンヤとアンニャというふたごの姉妹が、森の近くにあるコテージに住んでいました。２人は毎年夏になると、森の中で遊びます。コテージの中にいる時は、おもちゃで遊んでいました。それから２人はいつも同じ服を着ています。２人が好きなのはお洋服ではなくて、アドベンチャーです！それから、まほうのことをことを書いた本を読むのも大好きでした。お話はここから始まります。
ある夜、タンヤとアンニャは、今度行く森の冒険旅行について話をしていました。たくさんのアイデアが出ましたが、とうとうアドベンチャーのプランができ上がりました！２人はやっとベッドに入って、お休みです。
次の日の朝が来て、２人は朝食を食べました。それからお弁当を持って、森へと出かけて行きました。もちろん手作りの地図もわすれていません。これで道に迷っても大丈夫です。
２人の冒険も半ばに差しかかった時、行く手にお城が見えてきました。「お城なんて、見たことがないわね」と、タンヤがウキウキして言いました。「本当ね！」と、アンニャが答えました。２人はそこで、お城の門の近くに立っている兵士のそばに行くと、お城に入れるかしら？と、聞きました。お城を通って、冒険を続けなければならないのです。兵士はまるで銅像のようにピクリとも動きませんでした。「だめよ。銅像だからお話ができないんだわ」と、アンニャが言いました。「そうかしら？」と、タンヤがい言いました。「どうやったらここを通れるかしら？」
タンヤがそう言うと、みにくいまほう使いが突然、２人の目の前に現われました。「ここで何をやっているんだ？！」と、まほう使いが大声で怒りました。「何がしたいんだ？」「私たち、ただこのお城を通って旅を続けたいだけなの」と、２人はふるえる声で答えました「お前たちがそうしたいのなら、南に行って、ゴラーダと呼ばれる砂漠のまん中にうめられている青い箱を探すんだ。この地図を使えば、道に迷うことはないぞ」と、まほう使いはまた、大きなきしむような声で言いました。「分かったわ」と、ふたごは答えました。そして２人は南に向かうと、ゴラーダ砂漠にたどりつきました。そこには大きなドラゴンが２人の前に立っていて、「何の用だ？」と、聞いてきました。２人がすべてを話すと、ドラゴンは砂漠の中の青い箱を２人に掘らせてくれました。ドラゴンが親切で、２人はほっとしました。
「青い箱には何が入っているのかしら？」と、アンニャがたずねました。「分からないわ。あのみにくいまほう使いは何も言っていなかったもの」と、タンニャが答えました。２人はお腹がペコペコになるまで、何時間もいっしょうけんめい、掘り続けました。「お昼ごはんにしましょうよ」と、タンヤが言いました。「そうね。お腹がすいちゃったわ」と、アンニャがうめくように言いました。２人はそこでマフィンをパクパク食べると、ジュースをゴクゴクッと飲みました。ああ、おいしかった！２人はまた掘り始めましたが、砂ばかりで何も見つかりません。「あなたの番よ」と、タンヤが言いました。アンニャは「OK」と答えて、どんどん掘っていきます。アンニャが突然、大きな叫び声を上げました。「タンヤ、タンヤ！！、箱があったわ！」「とうとう、やったわ！」タンヤはにっこりして、言いました。「明日これをまほう使いのところへ持っていきましょう。今日はもう暗くなってしまったわ。とりあえずお家に帰らなくっちゃ」アンニャはこっくりとうなずきました。
疲れ切った２人がお家に着いたのは、夕方の５時でした。２人はまた地図を作りました。今度はちゃんとまほう使いのお城も入っています。２人はベッドに入りながら、もっとすばらしい冒険が待っていますようにと、思いました。朝が来て、ふたごたちは青い箱をかかえて森に向かいました。お城に着くとそこには驚いたことに、みにくいまほう使いの代わりに、クイーンと美しいプリンセスが立っています。「あれはだれ？」と、タンヤが叫びました。「ここで何をしているの？ここはまほう使いのお城でしょう？」「いいえ」と、クイーンが答えました。「ここは私たちのお城です」「どういうこと？」と、ふたごが聞きました。「このお城はわたしたちのものです。そしてまほう使いに姿を変えていたのです」「でも何のために？」と、不思議そうな声で２人がまた聞きました。「箱の中にはゴールドが入っています。ゴールドがうめられたままだと、兵士たちは銅像になったままで、だれもお城から出ることができません。お城にはまほうがかかっているのです」と、美しいプリンセスが言いました。「まほうを解くことはできるの？」と、ふたりはたずねました。「ええ、できます。でもドラゴンを倒さなくてはなりません」と、プリンスが答えました。「ドラゴンを倒すことができるのは、レプリコーンと呼ばれるようせいだけです」
２人はすぐに、岩の上に立っているレプリコーンを見つけることができました。それはまるで、何かを待っているかのように見えました。「何をそんなに心配しているの？」と、ふたごはレプリコーンにたずねました。「あなたの名前はなあに？」「ぼくの名前はルイス。ドラゴンが隠している虹を探しているんだ。虹がないとぼくのゴールドを見つけることができないんだよ。ドラゴンは捨てられた城に住んでいるんだ」と、レプリコーンが答えました。ゴールドがレプリコーンのものと聞いて、２人はたいそう驚きました。それはふたごたちもも探しているものです。そこで２人はルイスを助けて、虹を探してあげることにしました。もしかしたらごほうびがもらえるかもしれません。２人はルイスに虹を探すためにはどうすればいいか、聞きました。ルイスは３つのまほうの石が必要で、その石はクイーンのお城にあると、答えました。「私たち、その石なら持っているわ」と、２人が言いました。「やった！」「すごいぞ！」と、ルイスがこうふんして叫びました。「さあ、これでドラゴンをやっつけられるわ！」
２人はいったん家に戻ると次の日のための冒険にそなえて、いろいろと準備をしました。冒険は長い旅になるでしょうから、道に迷った時のために地図を作りました。ドラゴンは捨てられたお城に住んでいて、そこには虹とゴールドが隠されています。２人は夜明け前に家を出ると、お城へと向かいました。
ルイスがまほうの石を取り出しました。それは黄色の石です。「この石で、ドラゴンの羽をなくすことができるんだ」と、ルイスが言いました。「どうやって？」と２人がたずねます。「石をドラゴンの口の中へ投げ入れるんだ。ドラゴンが石を飲み込むと、とたんに羽が抜け落ちてしまうのさ。さあ、２人とも、ぼくのことを助けてね」と、ルイスが言いました。ルイスはその他にもいろいろと説明をしてくれました。タンヤとアンニャがドラゴンを呼ぶと、ドラゴンはたちまち、２人の目の前に現われました。ドラゴンはとても大きくて、お城の１／４はありそうです。ルイスはお城のそばにある木の後ろに隠れていました。ルイスは大きく手をふりかざすと、「どうかドラゴンの口に入りますように！」と、力いっぱい石を投げました。ドラゴンが石を飲み込みました。すると羽があっという間に消えてしまい、ドラゴンは地面に落ちていきました。「やった！」と、ふたごが叫びました。
タンヤとアンニャ、それからルイスはお城のそばにあるほら穴に入ると、今度はどうしようかと、相談しました。ルイスは青い色の石を取り出すと、「ドラゴンが出す炎を水に変えてしまおう」、と言いました。少しだけ休みを取ると、３人はまたお城へともどっていきました。「さあ、位置について！」と、ルイスがささやきました。２人は予定の場所に戻ると、ルイスが２人の後ろにつきました。タンヤがまたドラゴンを呼びました。ドラゴンはまたすぐに姿を現わしました。
ルイスがまほうの石をドラゴンの口へと投げました。ドラゴンの口から出る炎はたちまち水に変わってしまいました。 ふたごたちはクスクス笑うと、またほら穴へ戻りました。ルイスが「今度は本当に君たちの助けが必要なんだ。お湯を沸かして、お城まで運んでおくれ。そうしたらぼくのまほうで、ドラゴンに熱湯をかけてしまう。そのすきに、石をドラゴンの口へ投げてほしいのさ。そうすればドラゴンは溶けてしまうから」と、言いました。ルイスはタンヤにまほうの石をあげました。アンニャは水を沸かしました。お湯が沸くと、またお城へと戻り、ドラゴンを呼びました。ドラゴンが現われると、ルイスはまほうでドラゴンに熱いお湯をかけました。アンニャは最後の石をドラゴンの口の中へ投げ込みました。するとドラゴンは３人の目の前で、あっという間に溶けて、消えてしまいました。クイーンのお城にかけられたまほうは解け、ルイスはゴールドを取り返すことができました。タンヤとアンニャはルイスから、ぼうけんのごほうびをもらうことができました。ふたりとも貴重なゴールドのコインをもらい、大切にしました。
anya and Anya live in a cottage near the woods. They are twin sisters. They always play in the woods every summer. They play with their toys when they are not going out of their cottage. They always wear the same clothes, but their interests are a bit different. They both like adventure! They also like to read stories about magic. The story begins here...
One evening at the cottage before they went to bed, the twins decided to explore the woods. They made lots of plans until they came to the plan where each of them agree with. Then they went to bed.
When morning came, they ate their breakfast, checked if they brought their lunch and left. They also made a map so they will know if they are lost.
When they are at the middle of their journey they saw a castle standing on their way. "This castle has never been here before", hushed Tanya. "You're right!," replied Anya. They went to a soldier standing near the gate of the castle and asked if they can pass through the castle to continue their journey. The soldier didn't move as if it's a statue. "We can't talk to any of them, they are statues." said Anya. "Are you sure?" Tanya asked. "How could we get past them?"
Just after Tanya said those words, an ugly gnome appeared right before them. "What are you doing here?!" growled the gnome in a loud voice, "What do you need?" "We just want to get past the castle to continue our journey", said the twins in a trembled voice. "If you want to get past the castle and continue your journey, go south and look for a blue box buried in the center of a desert called Golloda. Use this map so you will not get lost.", said the gnome in a loud creaky voice. "Okay." said the twins. They left heading south. When they reached Golloda, an enormous dragon stood before them and asked what they need from him. The twins told everything and the dragon let them dig for the blue box in the desert. They were lucky that the dragon was friendly.
"What is in the blue box anyway?" Anya asked. "I don't know, I never asked that ugly-looking gnome." said Tanya in reply. They dug for hours until they got hungry. "Time for lunch." said Tanya. "You're right and I'm starving." Anya groaned. They ate muffins and juice for lunch. Yummy! They started to dig again and found nothing but sand. "You're turn." said Tanya. "Okay." Anya replied. Anya kept digging and suddenly screamed very loud. "Tanya, Tanya!" she shouted. "The box is here!" "At last!" said Tanya in a big grin. "Let's just bring it to the gnome tomorrow because it's getting dark. We need to go home now." Anya nodded.
The tired twins arrived at their home about 5 o'clock in the afternoon. They again made a map. But this time, the gnome's castle is there. They went to bed hoping that this time they will have a greater adventure. When morning arrived, they went again to the woods carrying the blue box that the gnome wants them to bring to him. When they arrived at the castle, they were shocked that instead of seeing the gnome they saw a queen and a beautiful princess. "Who are you?" cried Tanya, "What are you doing here? This is the gnome's castle. Am I right?" "No" replied the queen, "This is our castle." "What do you mean?" asked the twins. "This castle belongs to us. I turned myself into a gnome." "But why?" asked the twins in a curious tone of voice. "The box contains our gold and if it is buried, every soldier turns into statues and no one can get out of the castle. The castle is under a spell." said the beautiful princess. "Is there something we can do to break the spell?" asked the twins. "Yes, but you'll need to defeat a powerful dragon." replied the princess, "The dragon can only be defeated by a leprechaun."
The twins went on and soon found a leprechaun standing on a rock as if it is waiting for something. "Why are you worried?" asked the twins to the leprechaun, "What's your name?" "My name is Louis and I can't get my gold because the rainbow that I'm looking for is hidden by a powerful dragon who lives in an abandoned castle." replied the leprechaun. The twins were surprised upon hearing that the leprechaun owns the gold that they have been looking for. They just decided to help Louis find the rainbow and they might get a reward on helping him. The twins asked the Louis what they need to do to see the rainbow. He told them that they need three magical stones that they can only get from the castle of the royal highness. "But we already have them" said the twins, "Here they are!". "Great!" said Louis in excitement, "Now, we will be able to defeat the dragon!"
They prepared their things for their new journey the next day. The journey will be long so they need to make a map in case they might be lost in the journey. The dragon lived in an abandoned castle where the rainbow and the gold was hidden. They left before sunrise and soon came to the castle.
Louis got the magical stones from his pouch and got the yellow one. "This will make the dragon loose his wings." said Louis. "What will you do?" asked the twin sisters. "I need to throw this stone into his mouth so he can swallow it and then, the wings will instantly fall off and the two of you must help me!" he said. Louis told them what they need to do. The twins called out for the dragon and suddenly it appeared before them. It is so big that it can occupy 1/4 of the castle! Louis was hiding in a bush close to the castle. He held up the magical stone and threw it with all his might into the dragon's mouth! The dragon swallowed the stone and soon, its wings fell off and the dragon fell to the ground! "Yes!" cried the twins.
Then, they went off to a cave just near the castle and discussed what they need to do next. Louis got the dark blue stone and told the twins that it will make the fire in the dragon's mouth turn into the water. After they took a short rest, they went back again to the castle. "Positions!" whispered Louis. The twins went back to their position and kept quiet while Louis was behind them. Tanya called out for the dragon. Soon, the dragon appeared. Louis threw the magical stone into the dragon's mouth again and the dragon began breathing with water instead of fire. The twins laughed and hurried to the cave again to rest. This time Louis really need their help. The twins need to boil water and carry it to the castle so Louis can use his magical powers to pour it to the dragon while the twins throw the stone into it's mouth so the dragon will melt. Anya boiled the water while Louis gave Tanya the magical stone. After the water was boiled, they went strait to their positions. The twins called for the dragon. Right after the dragon showed up Louis poured the boiling water on the dragon while Anya threw the last magical stone. The dragon melted and disappeared right before their eyes. From then, the spell in the castle of the queen was broken and Louis got his gold. The twins got a reward from Louis for being very brave. Both got a gold coin that each of them treasured.
