あるところに、アリスというなまえの、ちいさなおんなのこがいました。アリスは、ペットがだいすきです。あるひ、アリスはとうとう、ペットをかうことになりました。アリスはこねこを、だっこしました。アリスはこねこに、アレンというなまえをつけてあげました。

アリスはおとなりにあそびにいきました。おとなりのおうちには、トランポリンがあります。アレンは、「トランポリンにのりたいよ」と、いいました。でもアリスは、「だめよ」と、いいました。ところがアレンは、トランポリンのちかくにいくと、だんだんをあがって、うえにのってしまいました。アリスはぜんぜん、きがつきません。おとなりさんが、いいました。

「あなたのうしろで、こねこちゃんはなにをしてるの？」

アリスがうしろをふりむくまえに、アレンはさっさとトランポリンからおりてしまいました。アリスは、「アレンはうしろにいませんよ」と、いいました。そのとき、アレンがぱっととびあがって、アリスのひざにのると、ペロペロとなめました。

ﾊne day a little girl named Alice likes pets a lot so it was the very day they could get a pet. She picked out a little kitten. She named it Allen. She told her next door neighbor and they had a trampoline and Allen wanted to get on it but Alice said "no". Allen went around the trampoline and climbed up the steps and went on it. Alice didn't know and the neighbor said:

"What's that kitten doing behind you?"

Before Alice could turn her head, the kitten jumped off the trampoline. Alice said:

"There isn't no kitten behind me." Then the kitten quickly jumped up and went on Alice's lap and licked her.
