new appointed officer was siting lazily in his office room. He had nothing to do. Suddenly there was a knock at the door and a man came in. The officer wanted to show off and so he picked up the telephone receiver and started talking nonsense. After a while he kept the telephone receiver. Then the officer and the man who had come in had a conversation:

OFFICER: What can I do for you
MAN: I had received a notice that the phone was not working
so I came to repair it.
