ずっと昔、激しい雨が降った後、洪水が起こりました。空は暗くなり、すべての世界が４０日間、水の下に沈みました。雨が降る少し前、神様がノアという名前の男の前に現われて、木で箱舟を作るようにと、言いました。そして舟の中には、ノアの家族とすべての鳥と動物を２匹ずつ、乗せるように言われました。
ノアはいっしょうけんめい働いて、箱舟を作り上げました。その後、箱舟に乗せる鳥と動物を探しに出かけました。ノアが箱舟を作ってから、４０日間の間、雨が降り続き、洪水が起こりました。水は山のてっぺんまで届きましたが、箱舟は水の上に浮かんでいました。すべての生きるものは命を落としました。ノアの箱舟にいるものだけが、無事でした。とうとうノアの箱舟は、アルメニアのアララット山にたどり着きました。ノアはハトを飛ばして、無事かどうかを確かめました。ハトは休む場所がなかったため、舟に戻ってきました。
ong,long ago,there was a great flood following heavy rains. The sky was dark and the whole world was under water for fourty days. Just before it began to rain,God appeared to a good man,Noah,and told him to build an ark of wood.In this ark,he was to stay with his family and two of every of bird and beast.Noah worked hard and the ark was ready.After that,he set out to find pairs of birds and animals to take on the ark.After Noah build the ark,there was flood and rain for fourty days and nights.Water covered the tops of mountains,and the ark floated on the water.All living things died.Only those in Noah's ark were safe.Finally,the ark rested on Mount Ararat in Armenia. Noah sent out a dove to see if it was safe to come out.The dove came back as it could find no place to rest.
