ong,long ago,there was a great flood following heavy rains. The sky was dark and the whole world was under water for fourty days. Just before it began to rain,God appeared to a good man,Noah,and told him to build an ark of wood.In this ark,he was to stay with his family and two of every of bird and beast.

Noah worked hard and the ark was ready.After that,he set out to find pairs of birds and animals to take on the ark.After Noah build the ark,there was flood and rain for fourty days and nights.Water covered the tops of mountains,and the ark floated on the water.All living things died.Only those in Noah's ark were safe.Finally,the ark rested on Mount Ararat in Armenia. Noah sent out a dove to see if it was safe to come out.The dove came back as it could find no place to rest.
