"To My Beloved Fiona"
by
Tiffaney

This is a letter to my cousin. She died last year of AIDS. Her name was Fiona:

Dear Fi,

How are you? Is God as cool as they say? I have so many questions, but not enough space to write. My mom finally said "Yes" to a puppy. Her name is Florence after Nightingale, the first nurse ever. She might have been able to save your poor young life. You were my best friend. I'm crying as I type this. I love you forever. Oh yeah, Samantha, Andrea, and Josh are fine. It was a boy named Zechariah Garrett. He's a sweety.

Love,
Tiff
PS. Say "Hi" to Aunt Jane for me! Oh, and Tuna and Tuggers too.
