"A Poem For The First Day of Summer"
by
Sarah

omorrow is the first day of summer.
That's June 21st.
To some people that's a bummer.
They think summer's the worst.

They whine all the time
Saying it's too hot,
but I really think it's not.

What I always say
is it's never too hot,
Your clothes are too thick!
You should watch what you pick!

Why would you like winter?
There's lots of snow.
It's way too cold!
It's such a blow!

Summer is fun.
That's when my birthday comes,
and lots of others too.
I get to eat lots of cake,
And sing songs to you!

The End
