むかしむかし、あるところに小さなおんなの子がいました。おんなの子は、小さな町に住んでいて、町には少しの人しかいませんでした。おんなの子は、町でただひとりの少女でした。おんなの子には、タアスという名前のお友だちがいました。はじめて２人が会った時、タアスは「名前はなあに？」と、聞きました。おんなの子は「テス」と、答えました。タアスは「とてもステキな名前だね」と、いいました。タアスは「だれといっしょに住んでいるの、テス？」と、聞きました。テスは「お父さんとお母さんもいないし、だれもわたしと住みたくないの」と、答えました。タアスは「住みたい人がいるよ！ぜったいなんだ」と、いいました。テスは「タアスは？」と、聞きました。「だれも」と、タアスは答えました。「だれもあなたと住みたくないの？」と、テスは聞きました。テスは「ほかのことを話しましょう」と、いいました。
「どうしてあなたは、人間のように見えるの？」と、テスは聞きました。タスは「よその星からここに来た時、人間のような姿に変えさせられたのさ」と、答えました。「ぼくは自分の星より地球のほうがすきなんだ。だから君といっしょに地球に住みたいな」テスは「いっしょにいましょうよ」と、いいました。タアスは「でもぼくは帰らなくちゃ。月曜日にはむかえが来るんだよ」と、いいました。
タアスは「地球はとても良い星だし、物や人もずっとステキなんだけど、ぼくたちはここにふたりきりで、おなかをすかしてるよ」と、いいました。「ねえ、タアス、おさるさんよ。動物園よ。お金がいらないわ。入りましょうよ」と、テスはいいました。「見て！ゾウさんとキリンさんよ」２人の友だちは、動物園中を見て歩きました。そして大きな岩を見つけると、その上にすわって、太陽がしずんでいくのをながめました。それからねてしまいました。起きてみると、おなかがすいていました。そこで２人は朝ごはんを食べました。それから公園に向かって歩きながら、歌を歌いました。「川、川、美しい川、空はとってもきれい」
「タアス、明日は月曜日よ。あなたの帰る日だわ」と、テスがいいました。タアスは、「もし君がタースの力を得たら、ぼくは地球に残ることができるんだ」いいえ。つかまえた。テスが何かをいう前に、頭の中がからっぽになってしまいました。テスは町中を見わたしました。そしてタアスを見つけました。タアスはテスの頭の中身を取りもどしてくれました。エイリアンがタアスを連れにやってきました。テスは両親を見つけて、お家へ帰りました。
nce a long time ago there was a little girl. She lived in a small town with a very small amount of people in it. She was the only girl in her town. She had a friend named Taas. When they first met, Taas asked, "What is your name?" She said, "Tess." That's a marvelous name said Taas. He asked, "Who do you live with Tess?" Tess said, "I don't have anyone that wants me and I don't have any parents." Taas said, "Someone wants you!" I know that for sure. Tess asked, Who do you live with?" Taas said, "No one." "No one wants you either?" asked Tess. Tess said, "Lets change the subject."
"How come you look human?" asked Tess. Taas said, "When I came from outer space they made me look human." I like earth better than I like space so I want to live on earth with you Tess. Tess said, "You can stay with me." "No I have to go back. They are coming to get me Monday" said Taas.
Taas said "Although earth is a much better place than space and earth has better things and people, we are here alone and starving." "Look Taas, a monkey. We are at the zoo and it's free. Let's go in," said Tess. "Look an elephant and a giraffe." The two friends looked through the zoo then they found a large rock and sat down on the rock to watch the sun go down and they fell asleep. When they woke up they were hungry and found some breakfast in a dumpster. Then they were on their way to the park singing, "The river, the river, the beautiful river and the sky is just as pretty."
"Taas, tomorrow is Monday and you are leaving," said Tess. Taas said, "Tess, if I can have your Taas skills, I could stay on earth." NO........ Got you. Before Tess could say another word her brain was gone. She looked all over town and finally found Taas and made him give her brain back. Then the aliens came for Taas, and Tess found parents and went home.
