hapter 1: The Tree

One day as nine year old Thomas was out taking his dog, Polly for a walk, he saw a tree. Now this wasn't any ordinary tree, this tree had wings and a tall black hat on. How could this be? Thought Thomas. Later on when Thomas went to play outside he saw that the tree was gone with no roots or dirt left where the tree was grown. He turned his head to run for the park and he took a fast glance back at the missing tree when he noticed it was there again with the rainbow colored wings and the tall black hat on. He turned around to head home and tell his mother. He raced accross the street and to his home where he was puzzled to find the rainbow colored wings and the tall black hat to be laying on the kitchen floor.

Chapter 2: The Flying Farm

The next day when Thomas sadly looked out the front window to see if the pooring rain had stopped, he saw the most magical thing that he had ever seen. He saw a flying farm house with pigs, cows, horses, chickens and one big fat rooster all being tossed and turned throughout the cold, and rainy wind. The next thing he knew, he saw a farmer and his wife with a basket of corn in each of their hands screaming for help and looking as if they they were about to die. Thomas almost started laughing when the farmers wife was turned up side down and her brown velvet skirt was flying over her head. The next thing he knew the farm, the animals, and the farmers were placed down and acted just as normal and like nothing had ever happened.

Chapter 3: The Picnic

A few days later Thomas had packed a lunch for himself to go to the park for a picnic. When he got there, there was nothing in his lunch box. "I know I packed a sandwich and a bag of chips" thought Thomas. He looked back in the lunch box and there he saw the lunch that he had packed before but there was also a candybar and a small bag of popcorn. Thomas quickly grabbed the candybar to make sure that it wouldn't dissapear but when Thomas was ready to eat it, it was gone. "Forget it." Thomas said out loud and he walked home.

Chapter 4: Talking Polly and the Dream

The next day when Thomas was out taking Polly for a walk, Polly started to talk. "You can't talk." said Thomas in amazment. "Yes I can." said Polly angrily. "But you're only a dog." said Thomas. "But who said dogs couldn't talk." Polly said getting annoyed. "No on, but still, you're a dog and you have never talked before, have you?" "Polly?"Just then Polly looked up at Thomas curiously and barked. Then Thomas woke up and realized, this was all a dream.
