"The Giraffe"

Giraffes were different then they are now. The didn't have long necks, they didn't even have a tail like they do now. They weren't even called Giraffes. They were called Sooies because they always got into trouble.

The way Giraffes we have now came to be is because they went to see the Empiror. I'll tell you about it. A long time ago when Giraffes were called Sooies, a young Sooie was complaining that he was in danger because he was so short he couldn't see anything coming and he always got attacked. So he went to the Empiror. She gave him a long neck and a tail and even horns. It was so special and helpful to the Giraffes that now in Africa all the Giraffes celebrate the special day.
