ever knowing what is your cause,
Always saying the wrong things,
Never trying to see your flaws,
Waiting for gifts life brings.
Never taking the extra stride,
Waiting for fate to do its part,
Casting all of life's lesson's beside,
Never listening to your heart.
All the time you spend in regret,
Thinking of your many mistakes,
Mourning for things that haven't happened yet,
And the way each day, your heart breaks.
Hurting the people you never wanted to,
Blinking all the tears away,
Wishing that soon the ordeal was through,
Knowing it'd take another day.
Sitting alone in isolation,
Sensing you really liked your friends,
Perhaps this is life's cruel education,
Telling you not to make this where it ends.
