"春夏秋冬ができたわけ"

　　　昔あるところに、小さな女の子がお母さんと住んでいました。お母さんは、万物の母神です。そうしてそこには、地下の神様も住んでいました。地下の神様はいつか母神のむすめをさらって、お妃にしよう、それから地下にいっしょに住もうとねらっていました。

　　　　とうとうある日、さんぽに出かけた母神のむすめは、地下の神様につかまってしまいました。母神はむすめがとらえられたのを知って、地下の神様に「むすめを返してください」とたのみました。地下の神様は母神に「もし３ヵ月間、なんにも食べずにいたら、むすめは返してあげよう。もしほんの少しでも食べたら、むすめは私のものだ」と、答えました。母神はこれを聞いて、３ヵ月近く何も食べずに暮らしたため、どんどん弱っていきました。すると木の葉が下に落ちて、秋になりました。

　　　　約束の３ヵ月の最後の日、ひとりの男の子が万物の母神のところにやってきました。男の子は母神がとっても弱っているのを見て、レーズンを６粒あげました。母神は約束のことをつい忘れて、レーズンを食べてしまいました。そのため、むすめは地下の神様のお妃となりました。母神がなげき悲しむと、世界が暗く、冷たくなりました。母神が泣き続けたので、とうとう雪が降り始め、冬になりました。

　　　　それから何か月かたって、母神のむすめはさびしさのあまり、重い病気にかかり、ついに死んでしまいました。けれども２ヵ月後、母神はかわいい赤ちゃんを産みました。母神が幸せになったので、また花が咲いて、春になりました。

　　　　それからまた何か月かたって、地下の神様は新しい赤ちゃんのことを知りました。地下の神様があんまりおこったので、地下が暑くなって、夏になりました。

　　　　春夏秋冬はこうして始りました。毎年、毎年、同じことが起こるのです。

nce Upon a time there lived a little girl and her mother who was Mother Nature. And the lord of the underground. He wanted to take mother natures daughter and make him his Queen and live with him underground.

One day when mother natures daughter went out for a walk in the woods she got captured by the lord of the underground. When mother nature found out she ask the lord of the undergroundhow to have her daughter back. He said that mother nature must spend 3 months without even eating a single little thing or else he will keep the little girl. so mother nature stay almost 3 months without eating that made her very weary so that made all the leaves on the trees fall down so that was named Fall.

On the last day of the 3 months a boy came up to mother naure and saw her so weary he gave her six rasins mother nature for got about the deal she made she ate it and so the lord of the underground kept her daughter That made mother nature sad so everything got dark and cold and she cried and cried that made snow so they called that Winter.

Then on the next few months the daughter of mother nature had gone homesick and very ill that she died. But in a couple of months mother nature gave birth to another little baby and she was so happy that the flowers were blooming again and it had been named Spring.

Then a few months afer when the lord of the underground found out about the new little girl he grewvery mad andand was burning up under the ground so that was called summer.

And that's how mother nature got all of the names of the seasons. And it repeats on and on.
